The Fashion of Paper V

When it comes to paper, designers are ready to experiment. unisource—national paper distributor— with the support of the american institute of Graphic arts (aiGa), recently presented the fifth fashion of paper show, a runway showcase of unique cultural costumes constructed entirely from paper.

South florida designers have seen in this event a great opportunity for ample creative expression, as they get to “play with paper“ in the most unusual ways in order to build these magnificent creations.

Over a dozen countries were assigned to various design teams that are up to the challenge of making cultural fashion representations of each region.

The 2006 fashion of paper V was held on march 16th at the miami design district. The outstanding catering and overall entertainment added to the event‘s sophisticated and artistic atmosphere.
